My Photo Gallery

I’ve been interested in nature photography for a long time, because I often feel so many wonderful or strange things around us are completely ignored. I also love spending time outdoors, during those rare occasions I can drag myself away from the computer. To be honest, I still don’t have too much experience as a photographer, but I’m proud of what I’ve got so far. Below are links to some of my photo galleries, please enjoy them.

Valens Conservation Area – Go to Gallery

Valens conservation area is definitely one of my favourite parks. It’s close by, and has a beautiful lake which be seen in the lower left corner of the preview below. The small lake is great for both fishing and kayaking, so I’ve returned several times. The pictures featured in the Valens Gallery are some of my earlier work, so they could use a bit of improvement. Still though, there were definitely some good shots, and the park is one of my earliest and biggest inspirations for nature/landscape photography.

Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park – Go to gallery

Sturgeon Bay Park quite possibly one of my favourite places on Earth. I’ve been there for a duration of at least a few weeks every year since I was born. It is even historically significant to my family. We have an infinite supply of fond memories, (and horror stories) from our time spent here, and I can’t possibly imagine a summer not spent there. I can’t convey all these memories in writing, but I hope I can convey the beauty of the park. These picture are about a year old, and are my first real attempt at landscapr photography in that area. I took over 2000 pictures, but have reserved only the best ones for the gallery. Feel free to ask question in the comments, I guarantee each picture has a fun story attached to it.

Rondeau Provincial Park – Go to Gallery

There’s not really much I have to say about Rondeau. I’ve only been there once, and didn’t get much hiking in because the weather was crap. Still though, I got a few decent shots. My favourite ones turned out to be the vegetation macros, which I’ve always had an eye for.
